A topic-based approach to teaching and learning avoids the subject based boundaries often imposed by a subject-centred curriculum.
 
LCP Topic Plans enable teachers to plan and deliver creative, topic-based lessons centred around child-friendly themes. Each downloadable unit features lessons specially selected for their rich, cross-curricular potential.
 
LCP Topic Plans enable teachers to make effective links accross a number of curriculum subjects, whilst meeting National Curriculum objectives.
 
Each Topic Plan identifies learning objectives and outcomes, key questions and vocabulary, and provides simple but effective questions. Each topic plan is designed to last around six weeks.

The Photofiles which accompany each topic plan feature images, ideal for whiteboard, that can be used to inspire discussion, reflection, questioning and a creative response. All of the LCP Topic Plans are in Microsoft Word format so that you can easily adapt them to suit your school.
